From Punggol with Love

This can be the title of a new cheesy movie! :D I'm blogging from my new home on this sultry Sunday evening. I think this entire week was slightly trying on everyone, most of all my parents. God is faithful though...I really am protected and walking in His favour everyday. I'm even more certain this week that He is at work ALL the time. Last Sunday evening, I read Psalm 73. It was a very fresh insight into a psalm which held me through a difficult time. At that point, I was just clinging onto it helplessly. Grabbing hold of a driftwood in a choppy sea. Then in light of the resurgence of who I am, grounded in Christ, Psalm 73 became richer.

Verses 21-28

When my heart was grieved,
and my spirit embittered,
I was senseless and ignorant;
I was a brute beast before you.

Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will take me into glory.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Every word resounds in my heart. I can finally say, with conviction that my God has control of my life. So any stone, rock, boulder are no impediments to the path of rightenousness that I'm in, for He alone broadens that path (Psalm 18:36)/ God is good!
