This is some week.
Joanna Chan Gai Ying started school at ACJC. First time she's attending school with boys. I asked her if they were cute. She said no, only the water polo J2s. She's coming home super late every night. TSK. I ate a record 6 bowls of tau huay this week. 3 last night. Robs thought I would lao sai tau huay. Went to Kopi Hill with the neighbours. I gave relationship advice while we drove through the cemetery. I have gone to cemeteries. I have given relationship advice. But never the two together. It made a potentially eerie trip turn into a mini talk show. We were all advising one down-on -love fella. Finally tried the Pasir Panjang duck rice. It's good. But the many tau huay gave me gas so I couldn't enjoy it totally. Watched a chick flick, Bride Wars with two funny girls. Chan and Yingxuan! It far exceeded expectations. The girlfriendy feeling reached a high during the sabo-ing scenes. I made it through all the doors of Left 4 dead. Hung out with my non-Chinese friends. I know this is gonna sound so white or yellow, but I've never hung out with a whole bunch of non-Chinese before. Specifically Indians. They are fine jokers. Changed the tack of an academic discussion during PS4212! I feel accomplished because I didn't do the readings for this week and somehow, steered the discussion into my comfort zone. Sneaky sneaky. And I managed to bring in one of my pet topics: ganja! Teehee. Next Tuesday-Thursday I'm moving to the new place. Looks like it's gonna be a pretty memorable week again. |
