I really miss interning at Mafia. I miss blasting rap in D's car in the AM and scolding him for checking out hot Caucasian women at Tanglin Road. I miss Joshua's 9am call to report for breakfast at the cafeteria. I miss the lunchtime dilemmas. I miss my cubicle because it was pretty secluded and cozy. I miss the guys popping up at my cubicle and laughing at my lack of "situational awareness". I MISS MY PANTRY! The many chocolate choices, ribena, exotic Middle Eastern snacks...oh yum no wonder I couldn't zip up my shorts today. I even miss the many Elliots and youaresuchaguys I hear every day. I MISS THE FANTASTIC HARVARD INSPIRED READING ROOM aka Harry Potter room. I miss Rhoda's even worse "situational awareness". I miss Zhijia's evilness (look at the picture for reference. Dude in the centre). I miss his scheming plans for storyboards that revolved around poor Duane as a woman. I sort of miss arguing with him about his extreme overactive imagination. I miss Darrel's Turkish Delights! Oh the horrid office rumours I put D through just because we were friends prior to the internship. Hahaha. I miss the beautiful surroundings of Mafia. I miss Wei's throaty laughter when I put my blackinese moves on her. I miss Duane arriving 20 minutes late for lunch because his sense of direction is terrible. I miss Duane's secret Vindictive Queen Bitch alter ego. I miss Joshua hugging and attempting to kiss Duane. I miss Joshua's many many imbeclic phone calls that are essentially about nothing. I miss LOTUS NOTES chain mailing. I miss going for the talks/seminars and trying very hard to not fall asleep.

Working as a salaried civil servant at Mafia will be vastly different. Internship's like really fun adolescent years; full time 830-6 work is a huge shoutout to adulthood. Full time at Mafia is gonna be a madhouse and I'm still pondering if this is where God is calling me to...
