this is our vision to live fast & die young

There's something romantic about being in year 4. The jaded undergraduate who secretly adores school. We meet every other day and talk politics/gossip about despotic leaders; ponder on the mysteries of life and love. All with the air of a pretentious FASS senior. But I won't trade this for anything else in the world: this feeling of finally being comfortable with school and the friends I've made over the years. You really do meet all kinds in university.

S & I found a gem of a photocopier in the library yesterday and proceeded to use it for an hour. In between pages, we traded stories about the horrendous exes and their deplorable antics. It's nice to laugh it off and look around at the fresh-faced freshies and think, oh we've been there, done that. It's really nice to know that even in our final year, there are still new people to hit it off with. Go have a few drinks; run over essay outlines; tease the buff dudes in the department. I know that "for everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven". Right now, I'm enjoying every moment, even the tiring ones.

Oh and Wilvin and I have reached the stage of our pseudo relationship that bears remarkable resemblance to Robs and mine! (haha Robin, shoutout to yoooou!) After our usual exchange of "you're so stupid" (his) and "you're really a loser" (mine), we decided that it's time for THE talk. LOL. Robs, duopoly ok? In school, I fight with Wilvin..out of school, it's only you la. In 10 years, when some of us are married or in GENUINE long term relationships, I think we're gonna have a ball of a time reminiscing how completely ridiculous we are :)
