'Tis the season to remember

I love the way things are turning out. It's been a messy last one-third of the year. I'm so glad it's December: time to re-collect, time to meet Lavi & the PL gang, time to breathe again and of course, time to celebrate God's greatest gift :)

Everyday confessions have helped so much. God is patching up the aftermath of my bout of rebellion. He's assuring me that my position remains the same; Princess & High Priestess. I really can't help but fall in love with this God. Even my academics are turning out to be secure and it makes me feel almost ashamed that I panicked about them. I know this is true: it's not about what you've done but believing who you are according to Christ's work on the cross. He came & died so that we can have life to the abundance and the free gift of righteousness.
When people ask me about faith, this is what I try to bring across. That the God I know is not a fixed legalistic deity who wants to tyrannize our lives but rather, He desires to captivate our hearts with His love. A 13 year journey in this faith has led me to this point. I'm not exemplary as a Christian. I'm just really certain of being a daughter of a very good heavenly Father.
