We sat at the poolside, laughing at the memories of our JC selves. I love that Lavi's home, for good, well for the next 2 years at least. She's my regular weekly date ever since she got back and oh, the drama's that ensued. The morning wakeup calls and the sleepovers that start at 4am and last til 12noon. The failed attempt to walk through the CTE tunnel and shelling peanuts/throwing them at innocent passerbys. So much has changed since she left for Australia 4 years ago. Yet, our friendship's picked up once again. We've both mellowed, certainly. We've both been through some pretty eye opening stuff. I thank God for the 16 years we've been sisters. Of all my girlfriends, she's been the realest. The one I could relate most to and the one who's seen me in action in almost every part of my life. I have honestly missed my Holes way too much, all this time.
