Sometimes, all we need is a dose of reality to understand that this is such a fallen world. I'm tired of pomposity; of that i-score-As-on-my-term-papers-thus-my-opinion-is-better-than-yours attitude; of undergraduates arguing about the most un-resolvable global issues like poverty. I'm seriously tired of people relentlessly trying to prove their point on facebook and being snarky. Tired of the people who encourage them. So today I gave in to my characteristic rage after plugging into my earphones and tuning them out didn't work. Told them to get over themselves. Then instead of staying on to argue some more or to lecture them (on hindsight what's the point really?), stomped off. Hope it's showstopping enough for them to shut up about it for the rest of the week.
