Wednesday, May 5, 2010 summer holidays =

Waking up at 11am, overcompensating sleep debt because I'm in bed by 1am most nights;

falling asleep by 5pm and needing caffeine to keep up with conversations;

blowing kisses to Crosby when he looks at me in surprise, like "Why are you at home at this time, when the sun is up at its highest point? Odder and odder...";

getting reaquainted with cable and the couch;

taking too strong drinks pre-dinner and struggling to stay awake in front of the folks;

midnight runs to gardens to stuff ourselves with icey dairy goodness;

driving with the windows down and fingers pointed upwards to the stars...

My final summer before adult life. I'm already missing it.
