In Click, The Cranberries' popular tune, Linger, was Adam Sandler's and Kate Beckinsale's song. But gotta splice up the lyrics cos the context is pretty messed up (about a guy cheating on his girlfriend who thought he's the one). I'm sure there were only parts of it that made it their song. Like the line "I'm such a fool for you". Oh, also because their first dance was to it.

The first dance: always an excuse to make a song belong to a relationship. Going by that popular convention then Gabe and I have to thank Usher for making O.M.G our song. Actually I'm semi-serious. The knowing glances and throwing our hands up in wild abandon when the DJ plays O.M.G. It is our song if we have a song. I'm kinda embarrassed though. We are such goofballs tootbags.

Then again I like to think so many songs belong to us in the possessive way a girl in love would think.
