Thursday, August 4, 2011 Why do Christians always praise the name of Jesus? Simply because he is good. I'm reminded daily of how good he is. Ever since I decided to shake off that dark cloud and confess Jesus as my Saviour, my Defender, my Protector and to speak out the biblical blessings, I really see a marked difference in my life. Goodness comes in spades and spades. For instance, my IC was returned to ICA and I don't have to pay the $300 fine! I kept telling people that prior to this incident, whatever things I've misplaced or gotten stolen had NEVER been returned. The confession and believing God despite circumstances were so pivotal to how things have changed.

It's not our belief that changes God's heart though. For His heart is always tender towards His children. It's the misunderstanding that we have to earn His love and favour that hinders us from seeing how Jesus has already made pathways of righteousness for us who were once sinners to stand and receive that love and favour. Once we see this and understand it, then I truly believe we will always be positioned to be blessed.
